Hi,

I'm trying to import customers with Data Porter and it's prompting me for a valid Sales Tax Schedule. I am not trying to  bring that in so I'm confused why it's asking for that. Has anyone had a similar situation>

Hello

In AR Options, on the main tab, do you have a Sales Tax Schedule defaulted?  If not please set a default for the Sales Tax Schedule.

If  you have 'Track Sales Tax on Sales' checked marked (turned on) in AR Options, on the Other tab, the sales tax schedule is required.  When you create a new customer it automatically takes the sales tax schedule default from AR Options if you do not define one.

Track Sales Tax on Sales was indeed checked (we don't actually collect tax), so I unchecked it, added a tax schedule just in case and my import worked correctly.
