I am having a problem with a unit of measure.  It is time (hourly).  It is set up and associated with an item but when it is selected an put on the PO the description doesn't print.  So the item shows but the description doesn't.  So because of that we can't use it.  AP could select the wrong line with out the description.  Also at this point we don't know if the calculation is correct.  Is anyone else having this problem?  Is there a box that I forgot to check off in the setup?

Are you saying the UOM ID does not print, or the short or long description of the item does not print? What version of MAS 500 are you using? In my testing the long description of the item will print if you do NOT have "Internal Long Desc" checked in Maintain Item. If that is checked then the short description of the item should print. My UOM ID did print on the PO; however I do not see where there is a description for the UOM. Am I missing something?

We are running v 7.05.  The item is printing and there is a long description associated with that item.  we are deleting that description and over keying it.  When the PO prints the original description is printing instead of what we overkeyed.

You are overwriting the description on the PO Line, correct? That is the short description. To have that print (it will print what is in the description on the PO Line) check "Internal Long Desc" in Maintain Item. It looks like you currently you have it set to always print the long description regardless of what is on the PO.
