Sales Order Explorer filters aren't respecting CompanyID

Hi,

Just upgraded from 7.05 to 7.3, and here's an odd bug.  When we open the SO Explorer and perform most filters, its fine.  However when we process a filter of "Hold = Yes OR Cr Hold = Yes", it produces results from ALL companies in the database. Actually, it doesn't respect any other filters below the OR - e.g. adding AND "Status = OPEN" has no effect.

I don't think that the vdvSalesOrder view has been modified in anyway, and it was my understanding that the CompanyID filter was automatically applied.  Has anybody else run into something like this?  I don't have any problems with performing direct lookups via SQL.

That definitely sounds like a bug.  I would contact support.  To help them you might run a trace.

Actually, I just spoke to some of my users.  They even had this problem with 7.05, especially mixing booleans.  Odd ...

I just tested this on my archived 7.20.14 system and my live 7.30.2 system.  The problem exists in 7.3.  It does not exist on 7.2.

Re: Sales Order Explorer filters aren't respecting CompanyID

Sage has done a fix as we've reported something similar for a customer in 7.2.  They did duplicate and fix in 7.2.  I am not sure about 7.30 but sounds like they haven't got there yet.
