Sage Summit 2012

Planning for Sage Summit 2012 is moving full-speed ahead and there are many exciting new things planned, and some big changes being made, as well.  It is our goal to provide a well-rounded learning experience, and one in which you walk away having had true value.  Your investment in Sage Summit is important to us and we want to ensure we deliver.

Time for Change

We’ve heard from you, our customers, a strong desire for peer-to-peer sharing and learning through customer-led and partner-led sessions, sessions focused on business acumen led by Industry leaders, more advanced courses and retirement of content that’s repeated Y-O-Y.  We couldn’t agree more.  We’ve redesigned the way we organize content, and overhauled the way we educate our Sage Summit Attendees.  This year, attendees will see streamlined tracks, each with defined focus areas and skills levels, and sessions featuring customer case studies, and in many cases delivered by you, our customers. Implementing these changes will result in optimum learning, a more rounded educational experience and true ROI.

Peer-to-Peer Learning

In order to achieve the goal of offering true peer-to-peer learning, we need your help to share success stories or areas of expertise.  These stories can be product successes OR even successes tied outside of the product, but aligned to your Industry or your Role.

Call for Topics

We recently launched the Sage Summit website (www.sagesummit.com) and with it, launched our “Call for Topics” search so you can submit ideas including hot session topics you want to see, Industry speakers you want to hear from, customer success stories with Sage products, or even customers’ own industry-specific case studies.  Ultimately, it’s our goal to have a good mix of Sage Summit sessions delivered by our customers, or using content from them.  In some cases, the customer may not be comfortable presenting.  That’s okay, we, Sage along with their partner can work together to build and execute on the topic.

How You can Help

We encourage you to submit sessions you think would be terrific.  This Call for Topics site will remain open through mid-January.  I’d like to encourage each of you to submit ideas, volunteer your peers to share their successes and help spread the word. We are excited to roll-out this all-new program and hope you join me in participating and promoting this exciting opportunity to engage one another, and make Sage Summit a truly exceptional educational event.
