A general workaround for problems installing workstation setup is to install from the master CD (there's an icon for workstation setup). Typically if you try to install workstation setup on versions of MAS prior to 4.3 you'll receive some type of message about not being able to install from a UNC -- even when you're trying to install from a drive letter.
The other problematic portion is paperless office. There are patches for 4.3 to get that to work. I believe the patches were rolled into 4.4 so it works out of the box.
