Hi,

I am having trouble with the Unattended barcode transactions import...  I designed a web application that takes input from the handheld computer and then create .ODB files to store the transactions so that they can be imported by mas90... but Unattended barcode transaction import is not working properly, it did'nt import even a single transaction... The format of the .ODB file is correct and when I import them manually using Import Sales Order Transaction or Inventory transactions etc, they get imported easily...

I am using mas90 v 4.40.0.5

do I have to do change some settings to automatically import the barcode transactions ???

Are you using the  Barcode import file layout that is found in the Help files? Also have you discussed this with your reseller. Have you looked in the Knowledge Base to see if there was any entries addressing this.

I have seen the mas90 help and knowledge base, but they have confused me more... Can you tell me what is the correct way of processing the barcode transactions ??? 

Currently, what I am doing is that..

1> Take input from the user.

2> Store the transaction in a .ODB file and save the file in a location specifed for Barcode Import

3> Then starting the Unattended Barcode Transaction Import... (Which does not import even a single transaction)

4> But if I import the file using Import Sales Order Transaciton options then I get success....

In mas90 help, they say that we have to store the transaction in raw data tables of barcode module "BC_Header", BC_Detail and BC_Distribution ... But at the same time they provide the ASCII file layouts of .ODB file for this purpose...

Now, what is the correct way ??? Creating the .ODB files or storing data in Raw Data Tables ????

I was confised by that statement as well. did you figure out what the unattended importeer is looking for?
