I couldn't be bothered to look and see if anyone has brought up this issue before, because it's so annoying that it just inapires me to be "that annoying complaining user" today.
Can you people PLEASE change the way that the community forums respond to mouse clicks? if I attempt to Shift + left click or right click in order to "open in a new tab", in addition to opening said new tab the original page still goes ahead and processes the click as if I had left clicked on a link. This is such a fundamental, basic flaw which does not appear to be a challenge to the entire rest of the known world, that I am shocked this has not been a constant complaint from people. It is likely though, that the people that it annoys just never come back to use the site anymore... that is how annoying it is.
Regards,
Matthew Kaney

Matt -- You're not the first to complain. But the problem isn't universal. I don't experience what you describe and never have.

I do not see this on the Sage site, but do occassionaly have the issue with other sites. I am running XP w/ IE8,
Using MAS200 v4.2 & MAS90 v4.2, FRx (w/Report Server), FRx Webport, & F9

I'm also running XP with IE8 with no issues. What browser are you using?
MAS200 Ver. 4.4 PU6

Windows 7 and IE8 works as expected for me. New tab opens and no left click processing on the original tab.

I'm running Firefox 5.0 and I get the same problem with middle clicking. But when I switch my browser's 'agent' to IE 8.0, middle clicking works fine, so I think when the site serves a different formatted page to a browser that reports it as Mozilla.
A user agent switcher is here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/use
Note that if you change the user agent while you are on the Forums you may have to reload the page.
