Do you know where can find "The Merge Option for Inventory", in this version 4.40 I can't see it, just find delete and rename Items but Merge option is gone, can you help me !!!!
Rename should do it. Enter the one you want to go away in the starting item code and ending item code fields and put the existing number you want it merged into in the new item code field.
"Delete and Rename"? Do you mean "Delete and Change"?
The "Delete and Change" option on the I/M > Setup menu contains the ability to perform merges as well. The menu item was just renamed.
Btw, if you've never used this Utility before, be cautious. This can be a very tricky process and it is not uncommon to accidentally really mess up the Masterfiles. Therefore it's highly recommended first trying it in a Test company, and always make sure you have a good full backup in case you need to restore.
