I am trying to rename a group of inventory items. I go to Set-up, Inventory Management Utilities, item delete/renumber/merge. At this point I get a message that says "B/M Change Control Entry  File will not be Updated", Is this going to cause any problems or inconsistencies in the Inventory or Bill of Materials modules?

Sorry wrong section. This is for feedback on the board such as How Do I Setup My Profile. 

As for your question. This is basically just an informational notice. Unless you are a heavy user of Bill of Materials who use Change Control a lot or at all this will cause no problems with what you are about to do.
