940 quarterly recap - part of 4th qtr in 3rd qtr

Page 2, Part 5, Lines 16-17. Not the entire quarter's FUTA, but approx 35% of the 4th qtr total is added into 3rd qtr. Anyone else noticing this? It's only an issue if it makes your $500 liability threshhold in question at that time. Definitely something to look out for.

Have not noticed it. Did your third and fourth quarter 941's report show info in the correct quarters? If they were wrong as well I would guess that someone played with the quarter settings in payroll options without doing proper period ends.
Note: never change the period ends in payroll options unless you are doing initial setups - it will only cause problems because payroll only maintains totals for the current current quarter/year. That's why you make backups of data if you have to process a payroll in a new quarter before you have completed your prior.

941 reports are correct, and no one can mess with settings without authority/permissions. We don't have that many clients who go over $500, but every single one has had this issue.
