Does anyone know when the update will released for the 2010 2nd Quarter 941 form?

Thanks

Re: 941 2nd Quarter 2010

Website says by June 30.

I have payroll to do first thing on July 1

They have a few hours left I guess. Would hate for them to do it ahead of schedule.

Re: 941 2nd Quarter 2010

I just read through the instructions on how to install the update.  Unfortunately, I already performed my period end because I just had to prepare my payroll.  There are other time restraints I must answer to.  I figured I could just prepare the Form 941 manually with a blank form from the IRS.

I would like to have the other functionality that comes with the update though as far as tracking qualified employees under the Hire Act.  Will subsequent instructions be coming out on how to load this update for 3rd quarter?  Or can I just load the update and understand that I will not be able to run the Form 941 for 2nd quarter?

Any help will be appreciated.

Re: 941 2nd Quarter 2010

Gaibreeze,

Have you got a backup from before you closed period end?  If so, it may be best to restore that backup, add the new 941 update and re-run your payroll, printing the checks to plain paper and shredding them the minute they come off the printer.  The longer you wait to install this update, the more manual calculations you will need to perform in order to get everything correct.  So, if the restore/re-close is not an option, give a call to our customer support department and have them run through your options.

Re: 941 2nd Quarter 2010

Erika,

If I'm not interested in printing the 2nd quarter Form 941, can I load the update now and just move forward?  I understand I will have some manual calcuations to make, but I had to make them for 2nd quarter, so I'm ready for that.

Thanks for your help.

Re: 941 2nd Quarter 2010

941 update was posted late on June 30. But when I went to download it on the morning of July 1 it apparently has been pulled. Had another MAS90 user to call me and say they are experiencing the same problem,

Unbelievable.
