I have an A/P batch (entered thru Invoice Data Entry) that looks like it updated completely, hit Payables module correctly and each G/L affected in this batch shows a correct entry in a G/L Detail Report. 

Yet, my CFO just showed me where nothing from this batch shows up on the Income Statement for that last month

Any ideas?

What's the source of the financial statements? Are these postings to new GL accounts?

These are not new G/L accounts.  She brought me a copy of the Standard Income Statement generated thru G/L Financial Reports (sorry if I am misunderstanding your question!)

I am fairly certain this A/P batch was the first thing entered when we returned to work on the 3rd of January...could that have something to do with it?

What date did you actually post the batch to? I would guess you didn't post it to the correct period.

That was my question - if you're using a GL reporting package (FRx, etc.) you need to coordinate accounts. All I can think of, since you see the transactions in the GL Detail report, is a date issue.

Run date and A/P posting date was 1/3/12.  Journal posting date was 1/3/12. 

Noticed that  G/L/Setup/Fiscal Yr Maintenance shows 2011 as current year......although you can open the "lookup" box and see 2012.

Did you try recalculating account balances?

Were these AP Invoices posted to accounts that actually should show up on the Income Statement?
