Looking for some clarification on the asset limit of MAS Fixed Assets (not FAS 50, FAS 100, or FAS 500). I understand the hard limit is 1500 assets, but is that per company or system wide?
I don't know positively, but if it works like the FAS 50 product, I believe it is a global 1500 assets.

I'm confused. My last conversation with MAS 90 sales team was that MAS 90 Fixed Assets has a 1500 asset limit PER COMPANY. In preparation for a MAS 200 4.4 upgrade, I'm reviewing conversion documents on the PFC and came across the following:
"Sage MAS 90 and 200 Fixed Assets allows up to 1500 assets... If you currently have more than 1500 assets for a company and you migrate to Sage MAS 90 and 200 Fixed Assets, you do not lose any asset data; however, you cannot create additional assets for that company."
"For a company" or "for that company" leads me to conclude that the limitation is per company, not system wide.
MAS Fixed Assets, just like FAS itself, when integrated with Sage ERP MAS 90 or 200, has a restriction in that it can only be integrated with one company code. So, while you can operate as many company codes in Fixed Assets as you want to, you must choose which company you will link with Sage ERP MAS 90 and 200 (or Sage ERP MAS 90 and 200 Extended Enterprise Suite). For MAS Fixed Assets, in that one linked company code, you are restricted to 1500 assets.
Unless I'm missing something, there's no such restriction on FAS 100. If a MAS 90 installation has 10 company codes, each one of them can be integrated with a separate FAS 100 company. Yes, there's a 1:1 ratio, where only one MAS 90 company can be integrated to only one FAS 100 company, but every MAS 90 company can be integrated to a FAS 100 company. Does MAS Fixed Assets work the same way and if so, does the 1500 asset limit apply to all 10 companies combined or is it applied to each company code individually?
