We have an employee who's sales person code was entered incorrectly.  From time to time someone will enter a salesorder with the incorrect code, requiring adjustment.  Can I disable or delete the incorrect code to prevent this from happening more?

No, but you can create a lookup that doesn't include the code.

If you do not have historical data for this sp code, you can just delete it.

If you are on version 4.4 and higher and have custom office, you could create a user-defined script in Sales Order to prevent them from using that specific code.
