Cash Receipts posted in the wrong year

How do you go and fix cash receipts that have been posted into the wrong year?  I am using Mas90 4.40.0.6

Posted to General Ledger in the wrong year, or both GL & AR?

I think the documentation suggests reversing the entry then posting to the correct month/year.
