I recently upgraded a client from 4.05 to 4.4.
Some, maybe all, of the Financial Reports in the standard G/L (not custom reports) that previously printed in portrait are now printing in landscape orientation.
For example, the balance sheet defaults to landscape, even though the defaul printer settings are set to portrait. If I manually change the settings to portrait, the report prints fine but I have to change the settings every time I print this report.
On other reports, if you change the orientation to portrait, some of the columns are missing.
It seems as though if the report has more than 4 columns (ytd, ptd, etc.), only 4 columns will print...the other columns are not printed.
Is there a quick fix for this problem?
Thanks

Looks like the report will default to landscape if you have more than 4 columns.
Can anyone tell me why the Balance Sheet (2 columns) defaults to landscape?
The printer settings (Control Panel) are set to portrait.

Here is my conclusion.
Hopefully someone from Sage will confirm my thoughts on the financial report changes from 4.05 to 4.4.
The GL_FinancialReport5.rpt file in 4.05 was designed in portrait, and the same report in 4.4 is in landscape.
I suspect Sage widened the columns in 4.4 because users may have complained that the columns were not wide enough to display their data.
