Not sure how to "use Excel and pull the AR Invoice Detail". We did not "manually enter or change the GL account number during Invoice Data Entry". This is happening across the board, all AR invoice posting is now showinig the same error. I have checked and re-checked 00 division, and all of the accounts are set up and active. Thanks.

Appears, you have now checked all the obvious possibilities. Sounds like some kind of data corruption. Maybe an orphaned record or something?
Would try rebuild key files and sort files on everything. Please backup first.
If that doesn't work, it may be time to stop playing 20 questions and call for some first hand help (tech support or a reseller) to investigate.

You said, AR, but is it possible they are SO invoices? They are processed differently and that points to potential issues with the specific Product Lines that are used by each inventory item. Someone (I thonk BL) mentioned this earlier but it seems to have been glossed over.
When the error occurs, you should be able to click the info button, determine the record that is causing the error, and then zeroing in on that. Maybe by deleting that one invoice, you can get the rest to process and then figure out what on that invoice is causing the problem.

Can't you still print an error log that will identify the missing accounts / locations?
Since this is data entry, I am not sure what rebuild will do per se. It does sound like you are missing an account number definition somewhere on the data entry record and not that the account number is invalid.
Everyone has already mentioned Division Maintenance and Product Line Maintenance (for inventory items). Of course Product Line Maintenance only applies to SO invoices. But there are a couple of other places that you might need to look. I can think of Misc. Item Maintenance and possibly Payment Type Maintenance. (Actually I think Payment Type Maintnence is a SO Invoice setup issue only as well.)
The only other possiblity I can think of is you may have a segment substituion option set and the resultant account after substitution does not exist.
Note: GL Accounts in the data entry files are assigned during the entry records creation. You can go into DFDM and verify the GL Account columns are all assigned and not null. That would take care of the detail side of things. It looks like everyone else has already pounded the AR side already.
Good Luck!

We don't have the SO module, just AR AP GL and BR...We are on version 4.4, and when the error happens I do not see any info button anywhere - just the printable/previewable error report .

Deleting the offending invoices seemed to fix the problem. Thanks, Steve.

DFDM is MAS 90-speak for Data File Display and Maintenance. It is a utility that should always be used with extreme caution and only if you have a clear understanding of what the file layouts are and how the files you are looking at interact with other files on the system. Once something is modified using DFDM, it is truly changed and there is no going back, unless you have an excellent backup.

ABSOLUTELY! Class of '77. I was a Gator when the Year of the Gator was always next year.
Here's hoping it really will be next year and the guys can handle all of the changes coming down the pike.
BTW, they looked 'pretty good' this weekend. I hope whoever they bring in to run the offense will be able to get everyone on the same page. I don't think I've ever seen them look this inept on offense (even during the bad years).
