We are getting the following error when attempting to print invoices or even update a sales journal.

The options when the message pops up are Retry, info and end

info gives the following error

Error # 16: File / Disc is full

Program  ARWUAB line 1570

Error information: ARNLAN.SOA  ARN A/R invoice histroy header file

1. Have you talked with your reseller?

2. Using Windows Explorer go to the MAS folder on the server. In MAS_LAN, ARLAN, how big is ARNLAN?

3. How big is Sy_ActivityLog.m4t

4. If either is 2 GB that is your problem. I am guessing it is the Activity Log.

You probably need to rename and manually reinitialize ..\Mas90\Mas_System\Sy_ActivityLog.m4t. but I would have your reseller do this.

Also, make sure you have not run out of disk space on the server.

Yes, I have spoken to reseller, they were able to get me through last month.Thanks. I am having the same problem this month

ARNLAN is over 2GB

Sy_ActivityLog.m4t is less than 1MB

Unable to purge any old data using period end->clear invoice history. This is the error I am receiving "Unable to perfom accounts receivable period end processing while invoice data entry is on progress"

The error is probably due to the fact that we were in the process of updating sales journal when the process stalled.

At this point i have a file that is over 2GB in size and I am unable to purge any old invoices because of a process that stalled.

Thoughts?

This doesn't help you on 4.05 but thought you should know it if you don't already:

- Version 4.05 is old.  It's not supported anymore by Sage.  The 2 GB limit per file is not going to change.

- Version 4.40 and above are the latest versions.  They support files over 2 GB by segmenting them.

- You can upgrade from 4.05 to 4.40 or newer if you are current on your maintenance with Sage.  (Or at least were current when they shipped you those disks.)
