Good afternoon. We recently changed the way we entered PO's and A/P invoices because they were previously being entered as if we are a retailer, which we are not. This resulted in all purchases flowing through inventory, which was incorrect.

For some reason, I only see PO’s posted for 11/2/11 – 11/7/11 (n the old g/l a/c ) and 11/29/11 – 11/30/11 (in the new g/l a/c ). I don’t see any PO’s for dates in between ( except one on 11/17/11 ) and there were many. I can inquire on the PO and see it in the PO module. Please help. Thanks in advance !

Probably need some more info.  Are you talking Receipt of Goods or Receipt of Invoice?  Are these inventory items (do you use the Inventory module?) or Misc/Special items (/ or * as the first character)?

This may not be the solution for you; however, we have been recommending clients run the Daily Transaction Register from GL at least once a month.   Sporadically, at various clients, we have seen DTRs not make it only to find they are still in the daily posting file but can only be seen from GL.  One client picked up three more registers they didn't realize were missing that dated back as far a 8 months.  Might be worth a look.
