Report that shows payroll checks sorted by check number

Wondering if anyone can tell me if there is a way to get a report that shows payroll checks sorted by check number for a select period of time? For example a check history report but sorted by check number that spans numerous payroll dates.

Nothing preprogrammed.

Crystal reports is the way assuming you have some knowledge of it.

Wow, hard to believe it has been this many years and this is the first time that someone has asked for this. You might want to post an enhancement request on the suggestion web site. If enough people vote for it, it may one day become a reality.

Otherwise, as Tom suggested, a Crystal report would do the trick. If you are up to speed on Excel queries and MAS table definitions, you could pull the requisite data into Excel.

Or depending on how current your bank reconciliation is (or isn't) you might be able to pull the data for PR checks from here using a check register report.

It's all about the bottom line!
