I originally purchased MAS90 4.2 core financial modules including payroll and the direct deposit extended solution.  When I upgraded to 4.3 direct deposit was integrated into the Payroll 4.3 module.  I have not been using the extended solution for over a year.  

Now I am upgrading again to MAS 90 4.4.  I have installed 4.4 and I am ready to migrate my data from 4.3.  When I start the migration I get an error message that says, "The following module(s) were found in your source installation and are not installed: S/D Direct Deposit.  You must install the missing module(s) in your new installation or uninstall the module(s) from your source installation.  The migration wizard will now exit."

I cannot install the Direct Deposit extended solution 4.2 on the 4.4 install (must be the same version), and I cannot find a way to uninstall the extended solution in my source install.

Is there a way to uninstall the extended solution?  or delete the data?

Your reseller can show you how, or better yet do it for you.  While not difficult, it involves re-installing v4.30 there are a number of considerations such as UDFs which is why I would suggest a trained MAS consultant to assist. Better safe than sorry.

We have the exact same problem. However we do not have UDF's. Can I just uninstall the module from 4.3 and continue on with the migration? This will not cause me to lose my Direct Deposit data, correct?

Don't have the perfect answer,  but if you backup first and try it, then you always have a way back if it does.

I had this problem upgrading from 3.71.  There's a very simple DFDM fix that my reseller supplied me with.  I don't know enough about the differences between 3.71 and 4.2 or 4.3 to feel comfortable passing the info on, but I would suggest you contact your reseller to see if they can help.  The quick fix allowed us to keep all our DD data.

We had this problem also except with the Credit Card Processing module.

Check the knowledge base - Resolution #523141 and #525052.

Make sure you have a a backup!

Ran into this myself tonight with a v4.1 to v4.4 conversion.

I uninstalled the unused module via system configuration (LM | Setup).  On the modules tab, highlight the unused module then click on the uninstall button in upper right corner.

Our problem was the module wasn't listed in system configuration.  Nothing there to uninstall.  Had to remove it through data file display and maintenance.
