Greetings-
I have installed 4.40 on a new system that conforms to the supported platform matrix. It is a virtual server running Windows Server 2008 Standard and is up to SP2. The guest OS has 2 processors, 50 GB of hard drive space and 2 GB of memory. The host OS is Microsoft HyperV Server (hypervisor only on the Windows Core).
4.40 opens correctly and I receive no problems. However, following the suggestions of the documentation I am attempting to install Product Update 2 before doing the parallel migration from our previous MAS90 system. Upon executing the update package, I get the following error:
An error (-5001 : 0x80070002) has occurred while running the setup.
Error Code: -5001 : 0x80070002
Error Information:
>SetupNew\setup.cpp (142)
PAPP:
PVENDOR:
PGUID:
$
@Windows Vista / Server 2008 Service Pack 2 (6002)
IE Version: 8.0.6001.18928
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Mark

Usually when I see something like that it means you got a bad download of the update. Does the file size match what is should be?
I believe it should be around 62MB.

The best solution often comes not from answering the question asked, but understanding WHY the question was asked.
