ACT 2010 and MAS 4.3 sp18

Hi all,

I know the link is old and outdated, but I have a client that has experienced 2 weird issues after updating to SP18.

 

Client only uses the MLink on the Contact Detail to invoke the Customer Maintenance button...they do not Refresh Current Company.  On two separate occassions, the Customer Audit Report (from MAS) shows that a MAS user has modified MAS Customer Name & demographic data to a different MAS Customer'sName &  demographic data...So when a user looks up ABC Customer, DEF Customer or 123 Customer...the Name & demographic data is equal to ZYX Customer in MAS.  The data is not changed in ACT either on the Contact or Company Table, however, when I look at the information on the Accounting tab in ACT!,it is now displaying the ZYX Customer Name and address in ACT! , but again, the data has not been refreshed.

 

I think I can narrow it down to using the Customer Maintenance button from within ACT! 2010, but I am not sure why it seems to affect seemingly random Contacts on seeming randon dates...it first happend 6.21.2010 the day after applying SP18 and then again on 7.28.2010.

 

Does anyone know and can explain to me exactly what happens in the 'background' when invoking the Customer Maintenance button?
