I am doing a test install of MAS4.5 with CRM and Fixed Assets.  Am just installing the SQL Express as recommended for demo installs.  However, when I do the CRM install (about the 4th screen) I have to put in a Login ID and Password to connect to the SQL Server.  It defaults to user "sa" and it has a password, but I don't know what the password is.  Maybe it asked me during the SQL express install, but I don't think it did.  I can't change the password here or leave it blank.  I googled this and there are some Microsoft message boards about it, but all seem to indicate that you need to know the original password or else contact your SQL Administrator.  Does anyone know what I did wrong and how to fix?  Will probably try uninstalling everything and starting over, but still don't think I ever had an option to define the user/password during the SQL Express install.

I believe it did ask you for a password when you set up your SQL.  Did you try using the same password that you entered for your 4.5 install?  Perhaps you inadvertently put that in and it accepted it. 

There are so many modules with so many passwords, and all seem to have different parameters, I have about 3 pages of passwords in my daytimer.  It IS frustrating.

If you cannot figure it out, you will have to do a complete UNINSTALL of the SQL.  If I recall, a reinstall will know of and retain the password that is already set.

Try using the management tools (Management Tools Express in Express Advanced: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=8961) or T-SQL to set the sa password.
