I am trying to create a new company view to be used as a group view.  After creating the company view and making sure the "groups view" is checked, refresh meta data, the view does not show in the "source view" when creating the group. 

I have ran the "update custom_sysparams set parm_value = 'y' where parm_name = 'allowduprecs' "   but that does not appear to help.  I have tested in both 6.2 update i and 7.0 update g.

Could someone please assist in what I am missing?

Just a note, I can get a custom view for person entity to work fine.  Just not company entity

I was copying the company search view to start.   I made a view just at select * from Company and that worked. Good starting point.
