I'm already doing replication between their exchange server and MAS but due to iPhone limitations it is a bit of a chore for the end user to update.
I can do what the customer wants with a bit of VBScript, XML files, and a secure website. Which is basic customer information accessible by state and city. It will probable take about 16 hours and be what they want today. I want to be able to give them the most for their money; so that when they change their minds it won't be a rewrite of the website.
So my question is will SageCRM or Saleslogix be more bang for the buck and what is the Manufacturers Suggested Resell Price per user on other webbased CRM's?

There is (supposed to be) an iPhone project in the works for SalesLogix.
Using SData I'm sure one could write an iPhone app that could hook up w/SalesLogix (or any other Sage product that supports SData). Unfortunately, you would have to have a "connection" to get at the data so it would be useless on planes or any place where you did not have (wireless) access.
Of course you can already use BlackBerry's, Smartphones, and PocketPC's with SalesLogix Mobile. It has an on board db for off-line use and is about $200 per user (MSRP)

Update: I did a custom website with basic info. I used VBScript to export the info to an xml file and then multiple webpages to sort in the order they wanted.
