Probably a stupid question but...
When creating Security Events (and consequently needing to create entries in tsmString and tsmLocalString), are we bound to stay within the values of tsmSDKInfo.StringRangeFrom and tsmSDKInfo.StringRangeTo?
I had some custom security events that are now linked to string values that make no sense (looks like possibly column names from tables). I know these were working fine at one point, the only thing I can think of is that during the 7.3 upgrade, the values for tsmString and tsmLocalString got updated in some manner that caused this.
Solved! Go to Solution.

I came across an issue recently where the addition of the new credit card module was using task numbers assigned to stand alone Crystal Reports added to the Business Desktop in previous versions. This resulted in either errors or specific tasks being started when these Crystal Reports menu options were selected. The issue was reported to Sage who has addressed the issue.
This appears to be a similar issue in regards to this new module. Looking at the entries in tsmLocalStrings, does the text relate to Credit Card in anyway? If so and you are using strings within your assigned range, you need to report the situation to Sage support so they are aware of the issue and provide a data fix for you.
If you are working outside of your assigned range, then you will need to recreate your strings using values within the range assigned to you by Sage. It is not recommended to use numbers outside your range as Sage or some other 3rd party developer may be using the same values and can result in errors occurring. If you are out of string numbers, contact Sage support to get an additional range assigned to you.
