In the middle of testing our 7.4 upgrade and running into a bump in the road.
We have a handful of apps that we have modified and used ADO components where needed to accomplish our customatization but apparently ADO references compiled on Windows 7 do not play well when run on older versions of Windows, in our case Windows Server 2003.

Switching to late binding does seem to be a workaround so far.
Lou, you are the power user, have you run into this one?

I haven't run into this issue, but thanks for the heads up. Normally, when doing customizations to MAS 500 tasks in VB6 I use the standard DAS routines. .NET tasks I often use LINQ to SQL and occasionaly ADO .NET
