Custom View Issues

Thanks for any help!

MAS500 7.4   I created a custom view in SQL, added a new task using System Manager > Tools > Task Editor

Then I added the task to Business Insights > Analyze.

It works great and all users can see it at that time, but anytime anyone logs out of MAS (including me Admin), when we log back into MAS the view is gone?  I can add it again, but as soon as you log off it's gone.

How do I get the view to stay in Business Insights?

Thanks,  David

Did you save your task menu?

Re: Custom View Issues

Yes, I did.  I have now added the Analyzer by using System Manager > Maintenance > Maintain Business Inshights Views/Context Menu.  I did this under Admin and I can log out and back in under Admin and it's there, but no other users can see it?  Do I need to add it to each users machine?

Re: Custom View Issues

If you add other tasks (like custom reports, or explorers) does it work?
Just by adding to the main menu and saving, it should be visible for everyone.

Re: Custom View Issues

Do you use a custom task menu or the same one as the rest of the users?  I use a customized desktop so any time a user has an issue with finding a task (usually from someone else moving it to another folder) I have to remember to switch back to the standard one.
