Does anyone know how to add a TM (trademark) superscript to the item description in Inventory Maintenance? We are trying to copy and paste the TM superscript from Word to MAS, but when we do that we just get a line in the MAS description.
Thanks ~ Lisa

Alt+0153 (™) should do it but it's not working for me in MAS 90 - although other Alt+'s work (e.g., Alt+0174 = ®). And others like ® can be copied from Word but not ™ for some reason.

NOTE: Codes generated with your Alt Key require using the Number Keys on your Numeric Keypad.
Using the Number Keys at the top of your keyboard will not work.
But laptop/notebook/netbook computers do not have a regular numeric keypad.
However, if you hold down your laptop's Fn key and Alt key simultaneously, certain letter keys will become a temporary numeric keypad.

Hi Brett:
Thanks for that website. I tried the shortcut you gave me and the circle R works, but not the circle TM. I just get a vertical line. Perhaps this is a bug in MAS? I am at 4.3 #19.

Depending on what you're trying to do exactly and I know it's a pain, but you could use (tm) in the field and in Crystal substitute the Description field with a formula:
Replace ({CI_Item.ItemCodeDesc},"(tm)" , "™" )
Using Brett's Alt + 0153 to get the TM to print as a superscript.

Ver 4.4. The ™ appears on the screen as a bar, but it does print out correctly on paper, at least to an HP laser.

Nice catch, Steve!
I just did a few printing tests in 4.30 (by previewing to screen), and the ™ appeared on an Inventory Item Listing, Sales Order, and custom Crystal Report - as examples.
