We just made a tremendous upgrade from 4.05 to 4.4... (YIKES)

One of the problems that I'm seeing is that I no longer have the ability to change the Std Cost on the Inventory Maintenance screen, and in order to go through Std Cost Adjustment, EVERYONE has to be completely out of the system...

There's got to be a better way...

What about automatically changing the Std Cost to read "Last Cost"?

You can call it whatever you want, but to change the field MAS knows as Standard Cost will require using the new procedures.  You can, however, create a file with the item and the new standard cost and import it into the work files while everyone is on the system and then just run the register and update with folks off.  (Assumes you own Visual Integrator)
