I am in need of adding the extended description of the actual inventory item into the grid of the BOM maintenance screen. Can someone please help me figure out the best way to accomplish this task.

I would imagine you would need to use a UDF for the extended description and then use User-Defined Scripting on the Post Read of the bill detail to get the extended description and populate the UDF.  So it can be done, but it would require knowing how to do the scripting.
