The views that were imported from v4.3 into v4.4 are visible to select, but when selected, there are no data displayed. Has anyone got an idea of what is happening?

You've probably tried this but have you recalculated/refreshed the data?

Yes. No effect. It seems that the item and/or inventory file has been revised in 4.4, but the BI items view is maybe not updated?

If you recreate the view, does it display correctly?

I haven't looked at ver 4,4 but check to see if under library Master> Utilities there is a Rebuild BI Report Views.

Are we talking Business Insights Reporter or Business Insights Explorer?
I'm noticing in my test upgrade that it doesn't appear the the Explorer views previously created came across.

Doesn't Explorer uses the reports generated by reporter?

No, explorer and reporter are two separate things.

Thanks Dawn. My Bad, None of my clients use BI. They typically don't want to learn more than they have to. Learning BI requires them to know not just what they want but where its at.

Just to clarify for the confused:
There is Business Insights Dashboard - graphics and summarys of various items in the system which are easy to set up (great for managers and owners to get a broad view of what's happening in the company).
Business Insights Reporter - a quick and simple way to create simple crystal reports - it at least partially insulates you from needing an intimate knowledge of the database because it prelinks a lot of common things - can't get as fancy as doing it directly from crystal.
Business Insights Explorer - a quick and easy way to browse and organize the data in the system suitable for those who have almost no knowledge of the data structures. Includes some graphing capabilities. Great for salemen, inventory managers, etc. trying to get a quick picture.
These are all included in standard MAS 90. They are relatively simple to use and are definitely worth the short amount of time required to understand them. If you aren't using them, you are missing out on a lot of the value of MAS 90/200.
