Hi all.

We're trying to change the valuation method for an item in Inventory Maintenance, but it's grayed out. Any idea why and how I can change it?

I think you need to adjust out all of the stock, then change it, then adjust the stock back in.

Check out Item Valuation Change Selection/Maintenance to see if it will allow you to do what you need. In 4.05, it's on the IM/Setup/Inventory Management Utilities menu. There are some restrictions with changing to/from a lot or serial valuation (must be 0 on hand), but otherwise, it may give you what you need. Click on the Help (?) button while in that menu option for more information. Note: For 4.40 and above, the utility is on the IM/Utilities menu.
