Customer Inquiry>History>Data Gone From 2008 and Prior

We recently upgraded to v4.3 (Patch #17) and when I go to Customer Inquiry>History Tab and select the year 2008 (or an earlier year),there is NO DATA (all zeros) listed in the data matrix.  Where did this data go?  How can I see it within this window?

In terms of CR, does the data get physically moved from one table to another table when you close out the year?  If so, what tables? What period end process (or other process) physically moves this data?

Thanks :-)

If you upgraded from a level 3 version all history is lumped into the last period. However a number of resellers have access to a utility that will recalculate the information and populate the correct buckets.

To BL's statement, I will add that the informatiion didn't 'go' anywhere.  Prior to v4.1, those summary tables didn't exist & that info wasn't maintained.  The only summary data you had was period-to-date, year-to-date, and last-year.

This new history infomation will be stored going forward, but if you want it historically, you will have to do it yourself or get a hold of that utility BL mentioned.

What do you mean by 'CR'?

Re: Customer Inquiry>History>Data Gone From 2008 and Prior

WAD (working as designed). Previous history was saved as Prior year, year to date, and period to date.

All the current period data will be in your current period/year , everything else is dumped into the previous period of the current year.

The current year and period is what is setup in your Setup Options also.

What you can do though, is to create a crystal report to summarize all this data and create a CSV file based off it, Reinitialize the history table, and then make a VI job to import this data.

CR = Crystal Reports
