I tried to integrate html into the email notifications with the SO invoice, but it all appeared as text.
Any Thoughts?

Remember that the EBM email notification options are pretty basic. If you want email notifications that can be all you want them to be, I would recommend using Business Alerts.

I am using BA for a few items, but there seems to be a disconnect for my e-biz customers. 90% of the time, the EbM emails don't go out. We can't figure out why this is happening. I (with supervisor rights) can enter a customer and all of the emails will function. Two others follow the same process, and emails never seem to come out of the system. Very puzzling.
I've also realized that these same customers addresses are not being inserted into their BA invoice. Only the salesperson and I receive copies and are listed as addressees.

Ideally I would turn off the EBM emails and just go with Business Alerts straight through. I'm not sure what you mean by the addresses issue in BA.

I agree with Dawn. Best option is if you already have BA or Knowledgesync, turn off the emails sent directly by EBM. The canned emails in the module are crude at best.
We turned then off and started sending all notification via BA. After a while we found our customers preferred PDF Order Acknowledgements and Invoice, so we upgraded from BA to KS.
Either way, BA or KS will do an infinitely better job than the email notification engine within EBM.

SP, I would venture to guess that for the Customer under which you test, your address is listed under the main AR Customer interface.
The other two you mentioned which do not show up might possibly have their email addresses listed in their AR Contact record, but not on AR Customer Main.
I've mentioned this to Sage, because it appears when selecting the Confirm To on an SO from a saved contact list, it doesn't pull in that contact's email address to the SO, only the email address listed on AR Customer Main.

JR, I thought of that and put the same email address in the customer record as well as the contact record.
I'm still on 4.05 but am under the impression that 4.3 includes pdf's as a standard option integrating paperless office into the standard package.
I suspect you are implying that EBM isn't a part of the paperless office integration.

SP, I couldn't speak to 4.3 as we're still on 4.2 until ARM is ported to the most current version.
Are you saying that you're using the 4.05 ExtSol paperless mod for invoices?

No. I'm 4.05 without paperless. I'm trying to dress up what we have. I have business alerts and have created an html invoice to email to our sales force so they can keep up with their customer's activity. I also included the customer email address for our EBM division and they are not going out to the customers. But I had not thought of replacing all of the EBM emails with BA messages until Dawn suggested it. It will give me the ability to dress things up and present a more professional appearance. This SHOULD be part of the overall EBM system for consistence of maintaining a brand identy.
This link started because since we can embed html into BA, and also into EBM in the item and category descriptions, I thought, "Hey, why not try this with the EBM emails?" That didn't work.
The new trend is to send .pdf instead of .html (or .doc). html can be changed while a pdf is fairly well protect from edits. I understand from my reseller that what is an expensive option for 4.05 - 4.20 {paperless office}, is included as part of the 4.3 basic package. If sending a .pdf is no more difficult than an html, I will go in that direction.
