Error#2: End-of-file on read or File full on write

Hello,

When I try to view the lines in the invoice drill down (A/R) screen, under customer maintenance, I've been getting an error: "AROWIL.SOA is full", in which I can click on retry, info or end.   Retry does not seem to be doing anything and end simply closes the screen.  When I click on info, the error#2 appears.  Does anyone know how to rectify this problem?     Thx.

I would use Windows Explorer and see how big AROWIL.SOA is in the MAS_WIL folder. If it is close to 2 GB that might be your problem. Normally you see this when the line indexs are missing but since ARO does not use it I am thinking this might be your issue.

Hi Big Louie- the AROWIL.SOA file in only 197,633kb.  Is that too big?  How can we decrease it's size...delete old customers, invoices?  Thanks for you help.  Love the quote below your name. lol.

No, that is actually a small file so you are fine there.  You should not delete anything. Normally this error code means you are missing an end of file marker. You may have a bad record in the file. You should work with your reseller to extract the data and take a look at it to see if you can locate the corrupt record.

Can you click the info button and post the information here? If its a damaged record it may say which record it is in info screen.
