IMZBL1 to fix qty for serial number inventory in v 3.71

User got on hand qty not available (s/b 1 becomes 0) for few items and happened often. Since they use Serial number feature I don't want to use IMZBL1 to fix from whse to inventory valuation or via verse to match the qty.
The problem is user edited the qty from DFDM already not few times until they reported this error. I will run Crystal to check IM5 to see detail transactions then to see which data is more accurate from IM2 or IM3. Any better idea?

If you use serial number then you should use the IMZBL1 utility. What this does is compare the detail (IM3) with the summary (IM2) and allows you to correct of them. In almost all cases the IM2 is incorrect and you change IM2 to match IM3. I have found that IM3 is always more accurate than IM2.
