We are a mfg using MAS 200 4.1 and considering the purchase of MRP to facilitate ordering raw ingredients. However, we only do Production Entries on Finished Goods - consuming the wips - at month end.
We mfg to order, so Finished Goods Qty on Hand is not a factor - except that as Sales Orders are invoiced the FG Qty is pulled negative. Consequently, wips (sub assemblies) are over stated.
Can the MRP report be made to disregard qty on hand of Finished and Raw components (items that are Made) when calculating demand for raw ingredients?
