Greetings:

I am attempting to import .csv data into MP2, v4.40.3. Set Customer number and Division assigned to "blank"; I am having no problems with those fields. However, my Item numbers are failing - each and every one of them. I exported Item numbers out of MRP to see if I was missing something - nothing apparent!

Everything else appears to be importing fine according to the log, but the Item number fails, and shows Invalid Record - Failed.

Removed validation on Item number.

First I verified that we had no funny lines of data in the source document; I removed the headings and such. Everything imported fine and reports are being generated as I write this....

Had problems with this import two years ago with v4.1 as well. Had to do some modification to the SY0DCT.soa file following the import, but I certainly do not remember having a problem with the import itself. I hated taking out the validation, but had no choice; the item numbers were accurate. Don't know what's going on, but thought I should share.
