Here is a subtle change in master (purchase) orders from 4.3 to 4.4. I strongly suspect this is an oversight in the rewrite.
Set up an inventory item. Establish vendor pricing for the item using standard cost. It could be a graduated rate as in my case or a single rate (say $50).
Create a master purchase order with the item on it but change the price to $45 each for 1000 items. You negotiated a good deal for the next 1,000.
Now create a standard order referencing the master purchase order and vendor and receive an amount..
In 4.3 the price that comes up will be $45 (the amount on the master purchase order).
In 4.4, the price is recalculated and will come up to be $50 ( the amount from the standard pricing set up for the vendor).
All I can tell my client at this time is that they have to change the standard vendor pricing which is kind of a pain because the "regular" standard pricing is a graduated table that will be reverted to when they get done. They got the best price because they agreed to purchase in total at the highest quantity level.
Or does someone know of some new setting I have not found?
