Is there a report that will show you inventory items that have not sold in the last 12 months?
The Inventory Turnover Report is not helpful to me. It doesn't show true numbers.
Am I missing a report? The reports that seem like they would work, want to go by a period and I would like to look at the entire year. any ideas?
I am not familiar with writing my own reports.

I think I have figured it out. I did an Inventory Sales Analysis Report and checked to return inactive items for the last 365, and now I am going to try and export and insert the current inventory level for those items.

You can modify the I/M Sales Analysis Work table and add the quantity fields from the I/M Item Warehouse table. Then they will be available to the Crystal Report. No need to export and insert.

Can you help me figure out how to do that. I assume that's in Crystal Reports.

You would use Custom Office, User Defined Field and Table Maintenance. When you add a UDF you will have the oppertunity to source it from related tables of which the ItemWarehouse table is one. Once you update this change you would do a Verify Database command in Crystal Reports to update the data references available to the report.

Thank you so much! I have followed your instructions and everything went well, but when I run the report I don't see the Qty on Hand added. I've gone back through the process of adding the UDF, etc, and I feel I've done that correctly. I've gone into Crystal and verifyed the database, and it updates, but then it's still not showing up anywhere. Do I need to actually insert a new field into the Crystal report designer?

Yes, the UDF has been added to the work table, and now it is available in the Work Table Field Explorer in Cyrstal Designer, but you have to manually insert the field to the report.
