Hello I have been using MAS for nearly 6 years and have been just recently trying to figure out if there is a way to put a override password in place if a customer pops up on credit hold or over their credit limit. We have new people in house that do not look at details and I need to have a failsafe so that bad customers do not have the option to place another order without manager approval. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

What version of MAS? I believe this is controlled via the role security now.

We are using MAS 200 4.40.0.4. If we do this through role security will a manager be able to override on the spot?

I believe the order will be saved with a hold status then a manager would access the order under their login to take the order off hold.

You were right it is through role security. Thanks for the help. Just in case anybody else wants to know here is what I had to do.
-Goto: Library Master->Main->Role Maintenance
-Select the role that you want to remove the override setting for
-Select Module Options Tab
-Expand the Accounts Receivable Menu
-Uncheck Allow Credit Limit Override
-Save
I know that it says credit limit override but it also works for accounts that are on credit hold as well.
