We are implementing the Quote feature available in MAS200 Version 4.2.
I would like to setup security so that specific users can only enter Quotes and not have the ability to convert the Quote to a Sales Order or be able to edit a Sales Order.
I can't seem to find the correct security feature to achieve this. Any suggestions? Thanks in Advance.

You can do this with the "Defaults" button and locking down the field in Custom Office, but it's not a security feature in MAS 90.

Dawn appears to have given you a great workaround to accommodate your request to prevent certain users from turning sales order quotes into sales orders, but your request sounds like a very good enhancement request to security. Please feel free to submit an idea by clicking on the Product Feedback link above.

I was aware of this feature but was hoping this was not the only option. I used this feature once and it corrupted the user ID so I wasn't too thrilled with it. I will try this again and hope it functions properly.
I did submit a Enhancement Request. Thanks for the info.![]()
