Dawn mentions that I am not able to use VI to remove parts from the WT_Template due to the fact that VI will not allow editing or deleting of Line/Header Tables.
Is there any other way to remove Parts from Work Ticket Templates in bulk? I have about 3,629 Work Ticket Templates that contain a specific part that I need to remove.
I know I can add a new part using VI but I am lost as to how to remove one other than manually.....Help!! ![]()

Here is something else you could try:
Do this in a test company.
1.) Export the JT_T9 file. Use whatever program you would like to make the deletions. This file is organized by template number, then step number.
2.) Re-initialize the JT_T9 file in your test company.
3.) Create a VI job to import into JT.TEMPPAR with just the "good" data.
See if that works.

Ok, I see what your saying here. I will give that a try. Thanks for the suggestion! ![]()
I will need to do ALL Work Templates, if I am going to reinitialize the JT_T9 Table... Wowzers!
