The subject line above references an Idea entry on the Sage Ideas site at https://www11.v1ideas.com/SageERP/MAS90and200/Idea/Detail/1877.

This is an issue that comes up with end users regularly.  17 of us have voted for it.  If you feel it is worth a vote, please do so.

 

If you have an alternate way to accomplish this that is difficult to circumvent, please share your approach.

In v4.40 this could easily be accomplished with a script. Variations on this have been posted in the Dive Deep videos.

We have a native iPad app that restricts by salesperson.  Its designed for mobile sales people and allows for quote and sales order entry.
