Re: SO printing feature

TheBottomLine, "Add the components that are specific to the picking sheet, but suppress them when the multi part function prints the second page."

Would you explain more detail how to do this trick?  One Crystal Form prints to same printer with multiple pages or to different printer. If it prints to same printer then how to let printer to remember on Page 2 will suppress some fields. If it prints to different printer where I can write the codes in Crystal for same Form Code to suppress some fields?  In Mas 200 v 4.3.  Thanks.

Re: SO printing feature

Joy66 - With multi-part printing, you can define different shadow text for each copy of the form.  For example "pick ticket" for the picking ticket & "office" for an accounting copy.  If you want the price on the accounting copy but not the picking ticket, you suppress the price field when the shadow text equals "pick ticket".

You can check the help files, but I'm not sure there's very much about this there.  But there were lots of discussions in SageTalk.  Search there for shadow text or multi-part printing & I think you should come up with lots of threads.

It doesn't matter if you are using multiple printers, only that you are using multi-part printing.
