Using Inventory Turnover Report for Year End Data

I have a question on the Inventory Turnover Report for MAS90, Version 4.3 of Inventory Management.  And, I sure hope that someone answers in one day!!!

The Inventory Turnover Report automatically pulls YTD data, and does not give the option of looking at a particular month, or at a prior year, or at a larger scale of time.  My question is two-fold:

 - If I wait until Tuesday, January 3 (we are out of the office January 2), will the Inventory Turnover Report then start looking at 2012 ONLY, and ignore 2011?

 - OR, will the Inventory Turnover Report start looking at 2012 only once Year End processing is completed?

This is important becuase the report does not include the current month data.  So, if it will re-set on January 1, I'll be doomed to having to get the Turnover via several different reports.  Which, to be honest, I already am, b/c it's calculated by units, not by dollars (SOOOO infuriating!!!).

Thank you all for any help you can provide!

Re: Using Inventory Turnover Report for Year End Data

The inventory turnover report is a generic report within MAS, in order to report the various periods you need, you would have to customize the report using crystal reports.  Once you  close the Inventory Module for 2011 then, yes , you will be looking at 2012 only.  MAS90 allows 18 periods, and only eighteen periods to remain open but this is a mess you really do not wish to deal with.  Believe me, from a user and support point of  view.  Good luck and ask around for a person who has Crystal Reports experience.  You could also look at the Inventory Sales Analysis, there are a few flags which you can turn on and off.
