Hello

Is it possible to have the warehouse location that is stored in inventory auto populate in the po when it is created instead of the default warehouse code?  That way the user wont have to remember to change the code for different items.

This can definitely be done with Advanced Scripting in 4.40 and above.

Thanks for the reply.  However not being on 4.4 and not knowing scripting is somewhat of an issue.

You could take 2 steps to remedy this:

1) Upgrade to version 4.40.

2) Have someone write a script for you to do this.

4.4, yes.

I have done this exact script for version 4.4 for a client.   Can't be done in 4.3 (well, short of a master developer anyway).

When you get upgraded to 4.4,  contact me directly (click on my name in the post).   Should be able to have you set up in under an hour.   Since I did bill my client for the complete solution,  I would probably have to bill a small fee for it.
