I have a PO whose status shows COMP and last activity date is 5/22/2009.  When I ran the open purchase order report today this PO still shows up?  I thought any PO with COMP status drops off this report but not sure as I have only used MAS90 for a year now.

PO's are purged as part of the Period End Processing. They can also be purged specifically using the task on the period end menu. The purge process is also affect by "Number of Days to Retain Completed PO's" in PO Set-Up Options.

Also, if you don't want to see them on your report, choose something other than "all statuses" when running it.

So to understand this correctly, MAS will purge PO's with a COMP status only either manually or during period end processing?

Correct. That's when it happens.
